3. Development history of “Sunshine Project” development
So far, the “Sunshine Project” in Guizhou has roughly experienced four development stages:

(1) Beginning and initial stage

In early 2006, the Dujun “Loving Care Baseball Factory” was set up in Dujun (prefecture capital), Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou, providing a drug rehabilitation and recovery work place integrating voluntary rehabilitation, physical and mental recovery, and integration into the society for drug addicts. At that time, the factory provided jobs for 50 drug addicts. It is the prototype of the “Sunshine Project” in Guizhou, and can also be said the earliest “sunshine factory.” (In early 2006, to transform drug addicts and special groups to the maximum, and fundamentally ensure key drug situation control achieves substantial progress, the Dujun Municipal Party Committee and government jointly established the Dujun “Loving Care Baseball Factory” with Guangdong Dayang Sport Equipment Co., Ltd. (Taiwanese-invested enterprise), providing drug addicts seriously harmed by drugs with a recovery workplace integrating voluntary rehabilitation, physical and mental recovery, and integration into the society. Drug addicts re-established confidence, got rid of drug addiction, and returned to the society through productive labor.)
