The 3D printing technology is going to drive the 3rd.Industrial revolution. It would be the driving force to revolutionize all forms of manufacturing from Medical tools, consumer products to aircraft industries. Therefore, for China to forge ahead it is crucial to having a headstart in R&D to mastering the technology. The U.S. has allocated huge amount of money to research and development.
