Tashi Dorje, cousin of Gyumey Dojer said, Gyumey Dojer always felt sorry for his family for he couldn't go home even when his wife was giving birth, his grandfather died, and his son seldom got to see his father.

However, he was very generous with his time toward his colleagues and follow villagers. On his work diary there were full of work plans he was going to do for them as follows:

On April 11, 2012, the information on the medical record needs to be checked up for the Rintse's. 　　

On May 3, Grandma Dekyi wounded on foot needed to be looked after.

On May 16, the bookshelf of the Village Administrative Committee office needed to be fixed up…

The village he used to work is only about 10 kilometers from his home. But most of the time he stayed in the dormitory of the County Government due to his heavy work load all day long and the ragged dirt roads along the zigzagging mountain slope also stopped him from going home.

It was to serve his fellow villages that Gyumey couldn't accompany his wife at birth of their first child, and again he broke his promise for their second child…
