All about the giant panda

The panda is a bear native to south central China.It is easily recognized by the large, distinctive black patches around its eyes, over the ears, and across its round body.

The panda is a conservation reliant endangered species.Panda Diplomacy is China's use of giant pandas as diplomatic gifts to other countries. The practice existed as far back as the Tang Dynasty, when Empress Wu Zetian (625–705) sent a pair of pandas to the Japanese emperor.

Now pandas have become important diplomatic symbols.
