More than 1,000 guests gathered to discuss the construction and promotion of a high-quality development pilot zone for the manufacturing industry in the Lishui District of Nanjing, east China’s Jiangsu province, on March 24. Government officials and representatives from universities, research institutes and enterprises attended the meeting held in the Jiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo Center, located in the Nanjing Agricultural High-Tech Industrial Demonstration Zone.
Located within the center of the world-class city cluster in eastern China’s Yangtze River Delta region, Lishui district of Nanjing city connects Shanghai and Hangzhou, two major cities in the country. A place comparable to Lishui could hardly be found in eastern China, as Lishui boasts a multimodal transport system which includes airport, railway, highway, light railway and waterway modes of translation.
