Indian Air Force Jet Crashes in North India Village

An Indian Air Force (IAF) MIG-21 crashed in Jodhpur district in north India's Rajasthan state Thursday, a senior police official said.

An Indian Air Force (IAF) MIG-21 crashed in Jodhpur district in north India's Rajasthan state Thursday, a senior police official said.

The fighter plane was on a routine exercise when it crashed in Jhelu-Gagari village this noon, the Press Trust of India reported.

The pilot bailed out safely.

District authorities and IAF personnel have rushed to the crash site, the official said.
