Chinese premier meets Turkish deputy prime minister

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met here Monday with Mehmet Ali Sahin, deputy prime minister of Turkey.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met here Monday with Mehmet Ali Sahin, deputy prime minister of Turkey.

Wen said the Chinese government attaches importance to international cooperation in personnel training and development, pointing to the remarkable results of bilateral cooperation and exchanges in this field in the past years.

He said he hoped that both sides will, through human resources development, enhance mutual understanding and trust, thus pushing forward the overall development of bilateral relations.

Sahin said the Turkish government places much importance on itsrelations with China, and the two countries share many common points and have cooperated smoothly in administration and human resources development.

Turkey also hopes to expand bilateral cooperation of mutual benefit and personnel exchanges in such fields as economy, trade, culture, sports so as to raise bilateral relations to a new high, added Sahin.
