font size

About 1,000 tons of rubble fell into a strip magnesite mine on April 13 in Yingluo county of Haicheng city in northeast China's Liaoning province, killing three people.

Two bodies had been unearthed as of Wednesday afternoon and all the three victims have been confirmed to be from northeast China's Jilin province.

The strip mine, already abandoned, was exploited illegally by a developer in Yingluo County.

Investigation is still underway.
