PLA helps traing honor guard for Gabon

Gabonese Defense Minister Ali Bongo shakes hands with Chinese Lieutenant Colonel Wang Yuanjing after reviewing the rehearsal of the Gabonese Honor Guard May 19, 2004. A training team, headed by Wang, from the Guard of Honor of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has trained the Gabonese Honor Guard for three months. This was the first time that officers of the PLA Guard of Honor trained a foreign honor guard.
