The Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs will host a seminar on the five principles of peaceful co-existence from June 14 to June 15 in Beijing to mark the 50 anniversary of such ideas.
The five principles include mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence.
Those principles were initiated and proposed by China, India and Myanmar in 1954.
