Saddam Hussein handed over to Iraqi authorities

Ousted Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and his closest associates were handed over by the multi-national forces to the Iraqi Justice Ministry, Itar-Tass reported Monday quoting Al Jazeera television.

The trial of him is planned for next week.
