CDB enhances support having put 400 billion into west

News came from China Development Bank (CDB) that Development Financial Cooperation Agreement was recently signed between CDB and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC). Until the end of March CDB has put loans totaling 412 billion yuan into the western regions. Loan balance has reached 297.7 billion yuan.

As a governmental development financial institution CDB signed Financial Cooperation Agreement with XPCC early in 1999 when XPCC was founded. Until the end of March CDB has provided corps enterprises with loans totaling 2.5 billion yuan with support particularly given to key projects and industrial flagships such as the corps cotton base project and east to west transfer of cotton production ability project.
