China's Management Science Academy has issued the ninth edition of university rankings since it published the first comprehensive ranking system in 1993, reported CRIENGLISH.com.

The ninth edition ranks the top 100 science programs in China. Peking University tops the list, followed by Nanjing University and China Science and Technology University in second and third place.

The appraisal factors in the schools' overall strength in subjects relating to natural and social science.

At present, there are thirty-one different undergraduate science programs in China.
