Linksys to sign distribution agreement with Digital China
font size

A division of Cisco Systems, the worldwide leader in networking will soon sign a distribution agreement with Digital China, the leading software vendor and systems integrator in China.

Linksys, which focuses on small office and home office or SOHO networking equipment, has been aggressively strengthening its market position in China in the second half of this year, since entering the China home networking market in October last year.

Its rival D-Link recently began marketing home and SOHO network products in China through the country's largest domestic home-appliance retailer, Gome Home Appliances.

Market sources indicated that D-Link has begun cutting prices of its wireless network card and router products, in an attempt to maintain its strong position in China.
