Nataliya Skakun of Ukraine wins women's 63kg weightlifting

Nataliya Skakun of Ukraine lifted the gold medal of the women's 63kg weightlifting at the 28th Olympic Games on August 18.

Skakun, who had 107.5 in the snatch and 135 in the jerk, had a winning total of 242.5kg for the gold, beating Hanna Batsiushka of

Belarus to the second place with lighter bodyweight.

Batsiushka, who set a world record in the snatch with a lift of 115kg, jerked 127.5 in her third attempt.

Tatsiana Stukalava, also from Belarus, had the bronze at 222.5.
