Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met here Wednesday with Sirus Tebrizli, vice president of the New Azerbaijan Party, who is here to attend the Third International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

Liu, also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, exchanged views with Sirus Tebrizli on the issues of common concern.

Liu briefed the guest on China's current economic and social development.

The third ICAPP will be held in Beijing from Sept. 3 to 5., involving more than 80 parties from over 30 countries.
