font size

A facelift of the museum of Han Dynasty (206 BC.- AD 220) terracotta figures in Xuzhou city of east China's Jiangsu province has launched to make the historical site more appealing to visitors.

The facelift, which began Wednesday, will finish in July 2005. The construction will increase the museum's exhibition area from 1,000 to 5,000 square meters.

Some 4,000 terracotta figures from Han Dynasty were discovered in Xuzhou during the excavation of another tomb there in December 1994.
