China's hand-free telephone users exceed 300 million

Correspondent Ran Yongpin learned from Ministry of Information Industry today that China's hand-free telephone users had exceeded 300 million by the end of August, reaching the total of 302.901 million, and the mobile users 315.1million.

The statistics released by Ministry of Information Industry also showed that by the end of August, the total national income of communication business had hit 378.43 billion RMB yuan, 12.2 higher than that of last year. Among them, the income of telecommunication took up 341.76 RMB yuan, 13.1% higher than that of the same period last year; the income of postal services yielded 36.67 billion RMB yuan, 4.7% higher than that of the same period last year; the fixed asset investment of communication achieved 122.56 billion RMB yuan, 13.3% higher than that of the same period of last year.
