font size

Chinese State Councilor Zhou Yongkang said Sunday that China's policemen should work diligently to improve their ability to handle emergencies.

"Police at all levels should continually enhance their capabilities to handle sudden emergencies as a way of serving national security and social stability," said Zhou at a symposium honoring the country's top ten policemen.

"All police should seriously perform their duties, maintain fairness and justice and serve the people with high quality service," he said.
