China opens satellite TV platform in U.S.

Eleven Chinese television channels will be broadcast in North America from China's Natinal Day, CRIENGLISH.com reported.

People in the US will have access to high quality, and uniquely Chinese programs from October 1st, as the Great Wall Satellite TV Platform will be formally opened, which includes six Chinese Central Television channels and Hunan TV, Phoenix TV.

The programs will be send throught the second largest satellite TV company in America, the EchoStar, aiming to meet the needs of American based Chinese audiences and Americans.
