China's top ten villas unveiled

As Beijing Morning Post reported, in China's top ten villas released by World Real Estate Academy, Beijing holds five, Shanghai two, and Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, Guangzhou and Shenzhen of Guagndong Province one each.

The two mansions in Shanghai are the "super" among the super: the top "Sunville" in Shanghai, selling at the highest unit price of 130 million yuan (about US$ 15.7 million), even nearly 100 million yuan higher than Beijing's most expensive "Green Sea Manor" in Beijing.

According to insiders, the owners of these villas are all "those on the top of the pyramid", most of whom successful businessmen, entrepreneurs and stars in entertainment circle.

There are worries about the fast-developing villa construction in Beijing in recent years. As roughly estimated, within the future two years, the supply of villas, priced as high as five million yuan per set, is around 5, 000 to 7, 000 sets. The total value is no less than 30 billion yuan. The sales volume of real estate in Beijing stood at 45.82 billion yuan. Compared with the market capacity, villas obviously taking up a much higher proportion.

Insiders pointed out that market risk has been growing, and the situation is especially serious in the market of high-grade housing in Beijing.
