Final figures of N. America box office

For the third straight week, DreamWorks' animation hit "Shark Tale" was the biggest box office fish, according to final weekend figures released Monday.

The film grossed another 22 million US dollars, boosting its domestic bite in three weeks in release to 118.7 million dollars, according to box office tracker Exhibitor Relations.

High-school football saga "Friday Night Lights" remained in second place, grossing 12.2 million dollars.

And the political puppet movie "Team America: World Police" debuted at the third place with a take of 12.1 million dollars.

Another new release, "Shall We Dance?," took the fourth place with earnings of 11.7 million dollars.

The fire-fighting thriller "Ladder 49" dropped from third place last weekend to fifth with a take of 8.5 million dollars.

Rounding out the top 10 were "Taxi" (7.8 million dollars), "The Forgotten" (6 million dollars), "Raise Your Voice" (2.7 million dollars), "The Motorcycle Diaries" (1.7 million dollars) and "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" (1.2 million dollars).
