Liu Wei turned down by Kings
font size

Chinese guard Liu Wei's NBA dream came to an end on October 23 when the Sacramento Kings said they would not be signing him.

The Kings informed Liu of the bad news after a pre-season game against New Orleans Hornets, in which they won 92:87, with Liu Wei on the bench.

Liu took part in three out of six Kings' games during his trial with the team, including two in China Games against the Houston Rockets.

However, only 2 points and 4 rebounds in 34 minutes on the court were not enough to persuade the Kings to sign him.

Liu will return home soon and prepare for the upcoming CBA games.
