India tests short-range missile

India successfully test-fired Wednesday a short-range surface-to-air missile, K-15, in Orissa state in east India, the Indo-Asian News Service quoted defense ministry sources as saying.

The missile, with a range of 150-250 km and developed as part of a joint collaboration with Russia, was fired from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Balasore district at 11:30 a.m.
