Liu Xiang awarded title of one of China's Top Ten Youngsters

Chinese Olympic Champion Liu Xiang has been included in the list of China's top ten young people of 2004. The is the 15th appraisal of its kind in China.

Liu Xiang, who won the 110 m hurdle gold medal at the Athens Olympics, along with ten outstanding young people representing various fields of art, national defense, science, and business were elected by a special committee from 41 candidates across the country.

The is the 15th appraisal of its kind in China, and was jointly organized by the All-China Youth Federation, the China Youth Development Foundation and a number of other organizations.
