China develops automatic control system for multi-satellites

The automatic control system for multi-satellites independently developed by China Xi'an Satellite Control Centre has been put into operation recently. This marked the successful transition of China's control over orbiting satellites from a supportive management to an automatic control.

The satellite long-time management technological supportive platform developed independently by Xi'an Satellite Control Centre has integrated many such functions as the diagnosis of satellite condition, monitoring and control information management as well as the planning and regulating management.

The system has witnessed a steady improvement in test operation with major breakthrough achieved in a number of technological difficulties such as the informational description of satellite condition diagnosis, the diagnosis inference mechanism and the satellite control information management and analysis.

Additionally, the system has also diagnosed in time and successfully solved dozens of breakdowns for the orbiting satellites.
