Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday (December 3) accused the United States of pursuing a dictatorial foreign policy and said mounting violence could derail progress towards bringing peace and democracy to Iraq.

He also criticized the West for setting double standards on terrorism. Putin's remarks came on a visit to India.

The more effective the authors and supporters of these ideas, the more humanity will lean dangerously in economic and social development.
