An intelligent robot milker has been put into use in China Mengniu Dairy Industry (Group) Co Ltd. The robot is the sole highly intelligent robot milker China has ever introduced.

The robot is placed in a model farm of the Mengniu Dairy Industry (Group) Co Ltd at the Helinge'er County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. According to Niu Gensheng, CEO of the Mengniu Group, there are only eight robot milkers in the United States. The robot's "job" is to provide highly intelligentized service to cows around the clock.

The use of the robot milker signifies China's cow breeding industry has switched to international practice. It shows the industry will grow more scientifically and intensively.
