Cuban leader Fidel Castro held talks with visiting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Havana Tuesday on bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues of common concern.

Chavez's arrival on Monday falls on the 10th anniversary of his first visit to Cuba.

During his stay, Chavez also inaugurated the exhibition of "10 years of victories," along with Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez.

The exposition shows 50 photos and three documents on the meetings held between Castro and Chavez over the past decade of close friendship.

On Tuesday morning, he paid tribute to Cuban national hero Jose Marti at a monument in the Revolutionary Square.
