US dissolves tsunami "core group" of nations

US Secretary of State Colin Powell announced Thursday that the Tsumani "core group" of nations would be disbanded and all further relief efforts would be under the leadership of the United Nations.

Powell told an international conference in Jakarta that the core group, which the United States formed with India, Japan and Australia, had "served its purpose".
