NBA expands TV coverage in China
font size

National Basketball Association (NBA) is set to expand its TV coverage in China thanks to a renewed agreement with Chinese TV partners on January 25.

According to the agreement, NBA matches and relevant programs will be aired on major Chinese TV media including China Central Television (CCTV), Shanghai TV and 12 provincial TV stations.

CCTV5, the national Sports Channel, will unprecedentedly live-broadcast 96 NBA regular games, the All-star Games, the play-offs and the finals annually, plus special programs like "NBA Daily Highlights" and "NBA Time".

The renewal of the broadcast agreement means the cooperation between NBA and CCTV has stepped into the 18th year.
