British Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown Friday accepted an invitation by Chinese Finance Minister Jin Renqing who is here in London attending meeting of G7 Finance Ministers to visit China.

Brown said after a bilateral meeting with Jin that he was very glad to visit China on February 21. He said he believed he will have a deeper understanding of economic reform and development in China after the visit.

Britain is the rotating president of G7 and China this year will hold the rotating chair of G20 developing countries.

Brown said he will have further talks with the Chinese leaders on boosting cooperation between the two countries and better serving their roles.

A stable and balanced development of world economy will also be on the agenda, he said.
