Gu Xiulian, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC) and president of the All-China Women's Federation, met in Beijing Thursday with Carol Bellamy, executive director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Bellamy is here at the invitation of Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
