The "2005 Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP)" will be held in Nanjing, capital of eastern China's Jiangsu Province, March 27-28, which is aimed at implementing the state policy of rejuvenating the country by relaying on qualified personnel, fully exploring human resources both at home and abroad and speeding up introducing brains from overseas.
Approved by the State Council, the CIEP is a top-class platform for professional exchanges and communication in China. Three CIEPs have been successfully held in Nanjing in 2001, 02 and 04, having created a brand name and promoted wide cooperation between domestic brain-introduction institutions and all kinds of foreign organizations.
The CIEP Nanjing 2005 is sponsored by China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Jiangsu Province Government and Nanjing Municipal Government, and is exclusively supported by People's Daily Online among Internet media.
The focus of CIEP 2005 will be "Attracting Global Expertise and Promoting All-around Development". By providing domestic organizations opportunities to enter into international cooperation on personnel exchange, the conference helps them to update their ideas, technologies, products and management.
The Conference will reportedly stress the following five points:
1. Introducing foreign experts into the fields of economy, technology, management and education, and consulting on overseas training projects;
2. International HR forum;
3. Staging an exhibition of successful foreign expert cooperation projects and soliciting further project development proposals;
4. International certificate exhibition;
5. The holding of a large Job Fair for international professional experts.
