The US is trying to be supportive of the EU-3 - France, Germanyand Britain - negotiations with Iran, Rice said, stressing "the EUnegotiations are leading in the right direction." Rice reiterated that "Iran must not have a nuclear weapon," saying "there are activities going in Iran that cause the international community to be suspicious about what Iran is doing."
