Recruitment information about the much talked about Nanjing special public servant posts will be released worldwide during the 2005 Nanjing CIEP (China International Exchange of Professionals) to be held on Mar. 27, with the highest yearly salary at 500,000.
The Nanjing municipal government circulated documents on Dec.12, 2004 and released the Provisional Measures for Recruiting Special Public Servants Under the People's Government of Nanjing. The Measures shows that the Nanjing municipal government would set up posts of special public servants who would be responsible, in a certain period and according to the special requirements of the government work, for work that requires special skills in governmental departments. The jobs may involve areas such as macro economic management, urban planning, science and technology, law and environmental protection etc. Varying according to different posts the yearly salary could range from 150,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan.
As learned, during the Nanjing CIEP Nanjing would publicize the recruitment information worldwide. The first group of posts for experiment would be under the municipal development and reform commission, municipal science and technology bureau, municipal state assets supervision and administration commission and municipal urban planning bureau.
It is learned that worldwide recruitment doesn't mean a "bias" for foreign experts. Rather, it means both domestic and foreign talents can participate in the competition.
Currently, the four departments are still yet to make final decision. As to whether or not the yearly salary can reach 500,000 yuan it has not been finally decided.
