President Hu accepts credentials from eight new ambassadors

Chinese President Hu Jintao accepted the credentials in Beijing from the new ambassador to China from New Zealand, European Union, Rwanda, Tunisia, Malaysia, Sierra Leone, Georgia, and Pakistan.

They are:

Anthony Browne, ambassador of New Zealand, who arrived here on Dec. 6, 2004;

Serge Abou, head of the European Union Delegation of the European Commission, who arrived here on Jan. 7, 2005;

Ben Mathias Rugangazi, ambassador of Rwanda, who arrived here on Jan. 10, 2005;

Mohamed Sahbi Basly, ambassador of Tunisia, who arrived here on Jan. 30, 2005;

Dato'Syed Norulzaman, ambassador of Malaysia, who arrived here on Jan. 30, 2005;

Sahr Ermaco Johnny, ambassador of Sierra Leone, who arrived here on Feb.4, 2005;

Mikhail Ukleba, ambassador of Georgia, who arrived here on March. 5, 2005;

Salman Bashir, ambassador of Pakistan, who arrived here on March. 18, 2005.
