16 passengers of Taiwan flight injured by turbulence

A Tokyo-bound flight of Taiwan EVA Airways Corp. met with air turbulence Monday, which injured 16 passengers on board, according to reports of local media.

The flight, which took off from Taipei in the afternoon, met with air turbulence on its way to Tokyo's Narit Airport and required landing in advance.

The flight safely landed at the Narit Airport at about 6:29 p.m.(0929 GMT). Its scheduled landing time was 7:10 p.m. (1010 GMT).
