Considered as entirely new, the "Asia-Europe Basketball Duel Meet" was held in Baishida Garden, a resident community in Shenzhen, a port city in South China's Guangdong province. All the participants are foreigners who live in the community. With more and more foreigners come to invest in Shenzhen, it is not rare for them to hold sport games in their local community.

More and more people of fair skin and blonde hair have come to Shenzhen now and residents are used to meet owners of foreign nationality and greet each other with "hello" instead of "Nihao" in the community. Along with the development of urban construction and internationalization process and the improvement of living facilities in Shenzhen, more and more foreigners will definitely make Shenzhen their first choice for living while doing international business in China. To better serve the purpose, Shenzhen has developed many international communities like Jingshan villa and Baishida Garden.
