Iranian President Mohammad Khatami will pay visits to Austria and France as of Monday, the official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday.

During his one-day stay in Vienna, Khatami is expected to hold talks with Austrian President Heins Fischer and Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel on bilateral and international issues.

While in France, Khatami will take part in the Dialogue of Civilizations Conference in Paris.

Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi and several other officials will accompany Khatami on the trips.
