CNN survey: 94% oppose Japan to be UNSC permanent member
font size

A quick vote by CNN shows that most respondents oppose Japan's bid for a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council.

The question is "Do you think Japan should become a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council? "

By 15:30 pm, April 12 (Beijing Time), 984,571 people have voted, among which 924,421, or 94%, clicked "No".

CNN declared that its quick vote is not a scientific survey but only reflects the opinion of those Internet users who had chosen to participate. The results can only be assumed representing the view of Internet users in general, but not the public as a whole.
