font size

Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo arrived in Beijing Thursday morning, starting a four-day state visit to China as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

During his visit, Obasanjo is scheduled to meet or hold talks with Chinese leaders and witness to sign some cooperation documents between the two countries.

Besides Beijing, he will also visit central China's Hubei Province and Shanghai.

This is Obasanjo's third visit to China after assuming the presidency in 1999. He came to China this time in the capacity of both the Nigerian president and rotating president of the African Union.
