font size

The United States said on Monday that it is prepared to resume the six-party talks with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) without preconditions and urged the DPRK to return to the talks.

"Once again (I) reiterate, the United States and others are prepared to hold the talks without preconditions," State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said at a briefing.

"The most important thing is how we are going to solve this problem. And the way to solve this problem is to go back to talks.

The way to solve the problem for the North Koreans is to go back to talks," Boucher said.
