Soong arrives in Nanjing
font size

The visiting Chairman of the People First Party (PFP) in Taiwan James CY Soong arrives in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, at around 7:00 p.m. Friday.

The 40-member PFP delegation, headed by Soong, was scheduled to visit the locally based Mausoleum of well-known revolutionist Dr. Sun Yat-sen, founder of the Kuomintang (KMT), on Saturday.

Nanjing, the second leg on Soong's mainland tour, was the national capital when the KMT ruled the country from 1920s to 1940s.
