Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President George W. Bush pledged to continue the fight against terrorism during their talks in Moscow, the Itar-Tass newsagency reported on Sunday.

Putin and Bush, who arrived here on Sunday to attend celebrations on the 60th anniversary of the end of the World War II, agreed that it is necessary to continue the fight against terrorism, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told journalistsafter the two presidents' meeting.

The two also discussed situation in Iran and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and the Middle East.

They also confirmed their intention to reach an agreement on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) before the end of this year, the Itar-Tass said.
