Saudi Arabia's King Fahd has been sent to hospital for medical examinations, the official SPA news agency reported Friday.
King Fahd Bin Abdul-aziz was admitted at King Faisal hospital in Riyadh Friday evening, SPA quoted a palace statement as saying.
Saudi Arabia, which has the world's largest proven crude reserves, has been ruled by Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul-aziz since 1995 when King Fahd's health condition worsened.
