Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians and wounded two others in the West Bank on Sunday, local media reports said.
An Israeli soldier shot dead a Palestinian militant who tried to stab him near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, Israeli military officials were quoted as saying.
It came after a gun battle in Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, in which a Palestinian was killed and two others were wounded.
The violence comes despite a ceasefire between Palestinian militant groups and Israel.
The Israeli army said that the Jenin fire fight began after three Palestinians shot at a military base from their car. Soldiers returned fire, injuring all three, and one of them died on the way to hospital.
Israeli and Palestinian leaders declared a truce deal at a Feb. 8 summit.
