Commemorative stamp volume "cherish peace" issued

A commemorative stamp volume "Cherish peace" was issued on June 19, 2005 in Beijing. The stamp album consists of 16 stamps featuring War of Resistance Against Japan and 208 stamps featuring portraits and calligraphies of 104 generals.

Containing 104 generals' inscriptions on essence of thoughts on the War of Resistance Against Japan and their photos and calligraphies, the album jointly launched by the All China Philately Federation and the Bayi Painting and Calligraphy Institute is published to commemorate the 60th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan.
