CIA chief says he has "excellent idea" on whereabouts of bin LadenUS Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director Porter Goss said he has an "excellent" idea where al Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is, but the United States will not probably be able to bring him to justice until weak links in the war on terror are strengthened, Time magazine reported on Sunday. "I have an excellent idea of where he is," Goss said when answering a question over bin Laden in his first interview with Time since he became CIA director seven months ago. "In the chain that you need to successfully wrap up the war on terror, we have some weak links. And I find that until we strengthen all the links, we're probably not going to be able to bring Mr. bin Laden to justice," Goss said. "We are making very good progress on it. But when you go to the very difficult question of dealing with sanctuaries in sovereign states, you're dealing with a problem of our sense of international obligation, fair play," Goss said. "We have to find a way to work in a conventional world in unconventional ways that are acceptable to the international community." Goss did not say where he thinks bin Laden is, but American officials have said they believed bin Laden was hiding in mountains along the Afghan-Pakistani border. Source: Xinhua
