font size

Saraya al-Quds, armed wing of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War), claimed responsibility on Monday for firing four homemade mortar shells at the Jewish settlement of Morag in southern Gaza Strip.

The group said in a leaflet that its militants fired the mortars which directly hit the settlement of Morag.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Interior Ministry said Hamas militants fired from northern Gaza Strip three homemade rockets at the settlement of Dogit and the southern Israeli city of Sderot.

The ministry said in a statement that two rockets hit the Palestinian side of Erez industrial zone and the third did not work.
